The corrupt but democratically elected Government of the Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur is overthrown by a megalomanic white crow Kaala Kaloota Kawa Kaw Kaw, and a steel-taloned dictatorship imposed.

A group of gutsy resistance fighters, led by Achaanak the shikra put in motion, their deadly ‘Operation Izaat Ka Faluda’ to depose the dictator. Will democracy triumph, or will dictatorship prevail in the bitter battle for supremacy that ensues?

Suspicions are rife at the Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur that its corrupt but democratically elected Government under the ‘leadership’ of Prime Minister Pinky Stink Tainted Storkji and his Chief of Security, the feared feral tomcat Chakumar Billa and Chief of Intelligence, Budhboo Bundicoot, has entered into an unholy alliance with a terrible white crow – an ex- mafia don from Bombay – the dreaded Kala Kaloota Kawa Kaw Kaw, and his crack team of crownie commandos. What transpires is much worse.

Using cunning, deceit and treachery, the megalomanic white crow from Bombay – who has fled that city following human persecution – launches a fearsome ‘Kaw d’ etat’ against the forces of the Government on one bleak night at Python Point. An iron-taloned dictatorship is imposed on the park: fundamental rights abrogated, the press muzzled and more diabolically, birds whisked off to the terrible prison, the Ghana Ghouls Ghonsla, where the dreadful Dr. Thappad Maaro Saala B C does his deadly work. The titular Head of State, Baadshah the tawny eagle, benign and bit of a buffoon is won over by flattery and privileges. All too soon Kawa Kaw’s diabolical intentions regarding the birds in the park gradually become clear: revenge on the human race – and a park where crows will rule supreme, a world where crows will rule supreme.

Crusading against the terrible turn of events, is Achaanak the shikra, a patriotic, rather earnest if naïve hawk, almost hoodwinked by Kaw and determined to see the return of democracy, aided by a small team of resistance fighters. There’s Titiri, the lapwing editor of Did-He-Do-It?, Gughuji the great horned owl, Phutki the shrill tiny-tot gin-tippling tailorbird whose brilliant idea dubbed Operation Izzat Ka Faluda for the downfall of Kaw seems to be the only hope, and the derring-do Koylas who put the plan into action. But then Cheepuk, Achaanak’s beloved falls into the cruel hands of Dr. Thappad Maaro Saala…

And even as the ‘freedom fighters’ plot Kaw’s downfall, Kaw’s own megalomania reaches new heights. An alliance is arranged with the beauteous Somasundari Kalibindi so that a dynasty can begin – even if it outrages the slinky Ms Gulabi Nakhoone – Kaw’s mistress…

As Kaw anticipates his biggest moment – at the rally at the marshes of the Mansarovar – where he will formally introduce his fledglings to the world, Operation Izzat Ka Faluda is set into motion…
